On 23rd, August Lithuania celebrates the historic Baltic Road Day. This year, Lithuania will dedicate the day to the Belarusian support campaign and will form the human chain from Vilnius to Minsk.
Meanwhile, in Klaipeda, #chooseklaipeda youth will join the event “The Bridge of Freedom” and at 6.30 P.M. and will form a human flag on the Biržos Bridge.
European Youth Capital 2021 team invites everyone to join and take part in the event. We will raise Belarusian flag and support Belarusians way to the freedom!
The “flag” will be filmed with a drone!
“When we with #chooseklaipeda ambassadors started to plan a support campaign, we found like-minded people and I am glad that the people of Klaipeda are very keen to initiate and are supportive.
I believe that everyone who joins the campaign, which will take place this Sunday will be able to feel it, ” says Greta Meškauskienė, the manager of the project “ Klaipėda – European Youth Capital 2021 ”.
After the youth action – human flag at around 7 p.m., the people of Klaipeda will stand in the way of Freedom.
It will start in the Siaurinis ragas and will continue along the Dane embankment to the Biržos Bridge, from where it will turn into Herkaus Manto to Liepų street and will continue to Palangos plentas.
