LCC International University is announcing a call for volunteers from LITHUANIA to participate in English camp for war affected children from Ukraine.
🔸 This opportunity is open to Klaipeda youth only 🔸
The objective of the camp is to provide high school students from Ukraine, living on the frontline of the war in the East of Ukraine, with quality English language practice and improve their leadership and communication skills.
❗️We are looking for a team of 10 volunteers who are proficient in English and enjoy working with children. Both students (high school seniors and college level) and young professionals may apply❗️
The camp is scheduled to take place on June 28 – July 3, 2021.
📌 What will I do at the camp?
You will assist in leading all activities including but not limited to English classes, games, sports, projects etc. Volunteers become mentors and friends for kids, cultural and language ambassadors.
📌 What kind of students will come to the camp?
Schoolchildren aged 11 to 16. Camp groups and English language ability will be mixed.
📌 Where is the camp located?
Zolotonosha, Ukraine at the facilities of Camp “Maximum”.
📌 How will I travel to the camp?
LCC Coordinator will arrange your flight to Ukraine. Airport pick up and travel to the campsite will be arranged by our partner Camp “Maximum”.
📌 What are the costs associated with the program?
There is no participation cost for volunteers, all travel, accommodation, and meals will be covered by the program.
